Flood In South Brazil Forced To Leave More Than 5 Thousand At Home

The International Migration Organization (MOM) at the UN reported that the flood in the Brazilian state of Riu-Grandi-Do-Sul forced more than 5 thousand people to leave their homes.

The official message of the MOM says that the organization supports efforts to assist the victims of floods in this region.

Strong rains, which began at the beginning of the week, caused large -scale floods, as a result of which at least three people died.

It is worth noting that last year a similar disaster occurred in the same state, in which more than 180 people died.
