Fly in cake cost a resident of Baku three years in prison

Baku Javad Ismailov (the name changed), who bought a cake in the Azza store, sued the company, claiming that a fly was in the cake he bought, but after the proceedings this fact did not find his confirmation, writes Qafqazinfo.

In order to withdraw his complaint, the man asked the company’s managers of 5 thousand manat, saying that otherwise he would disseminate information on social networks that would damage the reputation of “AZZA”.

When the company representative met with the plaintiff in the AZZA head office in the Narimanovsky district of the capital, he gave Ismailov a thousand manatas, and suggested that the rest of the money be taken in the evening. The man left the office, saying that he would take all the money in the evening.

After that, at the direction of the Azza leadership, a complaint was filed with the police. Based on the company’s complaint against Ismailov, a criminal case was opened. He was charged under Article 182.1 of the Criminal Code (extortion). The case was considered in the Nasiminsky District Court. By court decision, Javad Ismailov was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
