The captain of the aircraft of the Flydubai airline, which performed the flight along the route of Dubai-Makhachkala, requested a landing at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in connection with a strong fog at the destination, the airport press service said.
The Boeing 737 aircraft landed at the Baku airport at 03:52 local time.
Passengers and crew of the flight are currently in the transit zone of the Baku airport.
