The children’s football tournament ended among the teams of villages and villages, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Bakı Abadlıq Xidməti and Afffa.
The decisive games took place on the field of the Tennis Academy. In the match for 3rd place, the Mehdiabad team in the penalty shootout defeated Bina and won bronze medals.
A music program was organized before the final game, and such famous football players as Emin Mahmudov, Ruslan Abyshov and Emil Balaev took part in an autograph session.
In the match for gold, Yeni Surakhana and Sabunchi met. With a score of 1: 0, the Surakhans won, who became the winners of the first competition.
The best player in the tournament was recognized by Ragim Huseyn from Yeni Surakhana. The best goalkeeper is Rinat Atakhanov (Sabunchi), the best scorer of the tournament – Nijat Gardashov (Binagadi), who scored 11 goals.
The awards were awarded by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gaibov, Deputy Minister Mariana Vasilev, Secretary General of NOC Azerbaijan Azer Aliyev, deputy director of Bakı Abadlıq Xidməti Vugar Mufid-Zade, President of the Azerbaijani tennis Federation OKTYA ASADOV, Vice President Raur Aliyev and the head of the executive authority of the Binagadinsky district Elkhan Allahverdiev.
The winners of the tournament received medals and diplomas. Farid Gaibov handed the champions the main prize – a special cup.
In addition, all participants in the tournament from ̇SMA Bikes Azərbaycan were given bicycles.
Recall that more than 350 children of 2010-11, born in the tournament, took part in the tournament. 32 teams were divided into eight groups. Further, the participants played in the playoffs.
The main goal of the tournament is the development and popularization of children’s football and sports in general.
