The competition organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Bakı Abadlıq Xidməti with the support of the AFFA started last weekend. 32 teams aged 11-12 years, which are divided into eight groups on the principle of the location of villages, participate in it. The teams represent Surakhan, Khazarsky, Sabunchinsky, Absheron, Binagadinsky, Nizaminsky and Khatainsky districts of Baku.
The main goal of the tournament is to develop football, the propaganda of a healthy lifestyle, the search for talented football players. The tournament also carries the task of achieving mass in this sport. The tournament is attended by more than 350 children born in 2010-2011.
