On September 29, the Chairman of the Right Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) will take place in Japan. The winned candidate will take the armchair of the Prime Minister, and for the first time in the history of the country, this post can take a woman, writes “Medusa”.

Premiere Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga announced resignation. This was preceded by a strong drop in its rating. According to the news agency “Kiodo”, now the level of support for the prime minister of Japan is barely exceeded 30%. The ratings of the party itself have decreased and the rankings of the LDP itself will risk playing the Oktyabrsky parliamentary elections in a significant number of prefectures.

In the country, a severe epidemiological situation, vaccination passes slowly, the Japanese believe that the government does not cope with the pandemic. Against this background, the decision to spend the Olympic Games in Tokyo caused mass discontent and protests.

In these elections, two women immediately claim the post of chairman of the LDP, and therefore for the post of Prime Minister of Japan. This is Skeko Noda and Sanae Takaiti.

Both candidates at different times were headed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, but Takaiti received support from the former premiere-minister of Sinzo Abe. It is still an influential figure inside the party. Takaiti in their interviews can create a human image – she says that he loves rock music and motorcycles.
