For helping Afghans: In US, allowed to conclude transactions with Taliban

US Department of Finance allowed financial transactions with the “Taliban” and “Network of Hakkani”, if they are associated with the conduct of humanitarian operations in Afghanistan, as well as with the departure of medicines and agricultural products.

On the US website, it is noted that one of the issued license published by the Ministry of Finance allows the US government, non-governmental and some international organizations, including the UN, to conclude transactions with the Taliban and the “Network of Hakkani” to facilitate the humanitarian needs of the inhabitants of Afghanistan. Also allowed deals with organizations in which the Taliban or Hakkani Networks are directly or indirectly belonging to 50% or more stocks.

The second license makes it possible to carry out limited operations related to export and re-export to Afghanistan agricultural products, medicines, medical equipment.
