For those arriving in Azerbaijan, foreigners will require a COVID-19 passport

Cabinet Minister made changes to “temporary rules for the organization of flights and transportation of passengers by air transport in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the Coronavirus pandemic period.”

According to changes, the COVID-19 PCR test requirement to passengers departing from Azerbaijan will be regulated by the carrier in accordance with the rules set in the destination.

In addition, all airlines flying to Azerbaijan will take passengers on the following conditions:

For foreigners and stateless persons: passengers over 18 years old – only on the basis of COVID-19 of the passport (full vaccination against COVID-19 or a document confirming the immunity after recovery from COVID-19) and a document confirming the negative result of PCR test on the COVID-19, suited 72 hours before departure; Passengers aged 1 to 18 – on the basis of a document confirming the negative result of the PCR test on COVID-19, banned only 72 hours before departure;

for citizens of Azerbaijan – on the basis of a document confirming the negative result of the PCR test on COVID-19, beaten 72 hours before departure.

Amendment, passengers will have to have a COVID-19 passport. At the entrance to the airport complex will be established checkpoints, where employees of the aviation security service will check the availability of passports and tickets for certain flights. When taking baggage for air transportation, its disinfection of UV radiation in the processing zone will be carried out.
