Türkiye continues to increase its military power. This year, the forces of the Turkish Navy will replenish three new developments of Aselsan – the flagship of the Turkish defense industry.
The company presented its original developments at the world’s largest aviation festival, cosmonautics and Teknofest technologies in Izmir.
The festival also presented the ASELSAN naval systems, which this year was first entered and are under development.
In an interview with Anadolu, Aselsan CEO Akhmet Akjol said that recently the company is working on the development of new samples of systems for the Navy platforms.
According to him, the ship’s control system Gökdeni̇z was recently ignored for the fifth Milgem frigate. “To date, the company has signed export contracts with three countries,” said the general director.
Akyol noted that the company also completed the work on the development of domestic radar radars, which in previous years were purchased abroad and difficulties arose from time to time.

“Cenk radar also took its place on the fifth frigate of Milgem. This is an extremely high technology. The radar allows you to detect and identify all planes, missiles and surface vehicles approaching the ship. It will go into service of the Turkish Navy this year”, -said the general director.
According to him, this year the AKREP Fire Radar will also go into service with the Turkish Navy. This system is also ignored by the fifth Milgem frigate, he noted.
CEO said that the company is also working on the development of underwater weapons. “The first Deringöz autonomous submarine in Turkey will also be adopted soon,” he said.
