Forecast “shadow CIA”: war will be delayed

Stratfor, which is often called the Tender CIA, published excerpts from its forecast of world events for 2023.

First of all, the “shadow CIA” indicated that the Russian invasion of Ukraine would continue, but not one of the parties will achieve territorial acquisitions sufficient for a significant deterioration in the position of the other side in the negotiations.

This will ensure the preservation of Western sanctions against Russia and retain pressure on raw materials in the direction of increasing them.

The European Commission will also focus on the protection of the bloc from the energy crisis and the growth of inflation, as well as on increasing the EU autonomy in areas such as technology and raw materials.

As for China, the economic growth of the Middle Kingdom will slowly recover as Beijing weakens the restrictions introduced in connection with the Covid-19. But this growth will be restrained by constant control by the regulatory authorities in the technological sector and efforts to reduce the loyalty of the real estate sector are predicted in the company.

In addition, the United States unilaterally, without the support of the allies, will impose more serious restrictions on China’s technological sector. This will happen as part of Washington’s wider efforts to counteract the growing technological power of Beijing.
