Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister, Pakistan Foreign Minister Muhammad Isham Dar.
This is stated in the message of the press service of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.
According to this information, during the conversation, ministers discussed regional security issues against the backdrop of a deterioration in the situation between Pakistan and India.
The Pakistani Minister informed a colleague about India missile strikes on the territory of Pakistan and on the reciprocal measures from the Pakistani side.
The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan expressed solidarity with the Pakistani people and condemned the attacks that led to victims and injuries among the civilian population.
He also emphasized the importance of preventing further escalation and expressed hope for resolving the conflict through diplomatic efforts and negotiations.
