On Saturday, August 23, a telephone conversation was held between Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

During the telephone conversation, the parties discussed a number of issues standing on Azerbaijani-Russia bilateral and multilateral agenda, various aspects of political, economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as issues of regional and international security.
Jahun Bayramov and Sergey Lavrov exchanged views on the latest meeting of the intergovernmental state commission on economic cooperation between the Azerbaijan Republic and the Russian Federation, which took place on August 22 of the current year in the current year Astrakhan, and highly appreciated its results.
The ministers also exchanged opinions for other topics representing mutual interest.
