Foreign Minister of Iran and Saudi Arabia discussed normalization of relations

Foreign Ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia Hussein Amir Abdollahiyan and Faisal Ben Farhan Al Saud discussed the topic of normalizing bilateral relations.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iri noted that Tehran continues to prepare to resume the work of the embassy and consulate in Saudi Arabia.

Abdullahiyan said that the programs of mutual visits of officials and foreign ministers of the two countries are a sign of the parties to normalize ties and good neighborly relations.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Ben Ferkhan Al Saud positively appreciated the efforts to develop and strengthen bilateral relations.

According to the minister, over the past two months, positive steps have been taken in the dialogue of the two states.

Al Saud emphasized that compliance with the achieved agreements indicates a serious desire for the parties to develop ties.
