Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev visited Kyrgyzstan on an official visit. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kr.
During negotiations, the heads of foreign policy departments of the two countries thoroughly discussed a wide range of current issues of the bilateral agenda, including priority areas of cooperation in the political, economic, investment and cultural and humanitarian spheres. >
The parties also considered the course of the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of previous visits at the highest level, and expressed their readiness to further make joint efforts to bring the Kyrgyz-Russian relations to a qualitatively new level.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of strengthening interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations, including the UN, CIS, EAEU, SCO, CSTO and other integration associations.
It is noted that negotiations were held in a traditionally open atmosphere, in the spirit of mutual understanding and trust. On both sides, the desire to further strengthen partnerships, expanding practical interaction and the increase of the already achieved results is confirmed.
Separately, the high intensity of political dialogue was noted, including regular contacts at the level of heads of state, parliaments and governments of the two countries.
During the meeting, promising directions of bilateral cooperation were determined, as well as the schedule and agenda of the upcoming activities at the highest level planned for the current year.
