Foreign Minister Of Syria And Italy Discussed Development Of Bilateral Relations

Syrian Foreign Minister Assad Hasan Shebani and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Italy Antonio Tayani held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the development of relations between the two countries.

According to the statement published by the Syria Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a telephone conversation was held between the ministers of Sheybani and Taayan.

The ministers discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the steps to develop these relations.

Shebani Assad emphasized that Syria attaches great importance to the establishment of balanced relations with friendly countries in the framework of mutual respect and non -interference in their internal affairs.

The parties also discussed the latest events in Syria and the region. Shaibani noted that the continuation of the dialogue and consultations with Italy will meet the general interests of the two countries.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Italy Tayani expressed support for his country to stabilize the situation in Syria.

Tayani noted the desire of Italy to continue cooperation with Syria in areas representing mutual interest, in particular, in the humanitarian and economic spheres.

During the conversation, the importance of respect for the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Syria was emphasized. The ministers emphasized that strengthening the framework of bilateral cooperation between the two countries will contribute to regional security and stability.
