Foreign Minister of Turkey and Pakistan discussed efforts to extend “grain transaction”

The Foreign Minister of Turkey Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with his Pakistani colleague Bilaval Zardari, the press service of the Turkish foreign policy of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The Foreign Minister discussed the situation around the Black Sea Grain Initiative and the growing number of acts of desecration of the Holy Koran in Europe.

Zardari, in turn, wrote on Twitter that he discussed with Fidan the situation in the Black Sea region.

The head of Pakistani diplomacy, I highly value the role of Turkey in achieving an agreement on the Black Sea Grain initiative in 2022. According to him, Islamabad will continue to support international efforts to resume the “grain transaction”.
