Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will make a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on October 2. According to the information received from sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the negotiations of Fidan, it is expected to intend to emphasize Ankara’s desire to further develop multilateral cooperation with the UAE, as well as discuss efforts to achieve the cessation of fire and the establishment of peace in sector -regenerate, including the plan declared by US President Donald Trump on September 29.
as part of the meetings, Hakan Fidan also plans to focus on the importance of supporting the Syria government to ensure stability and restore the country.
during the previous visit to the UAE, Hakan Fidan was adopted by President Bin Zaidom. Al -Nahayan, and also held negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Bin Zaid Al – Nahayan.
Relations between the two countries were taken to the level of strategic partnership thanks to the Higher Strategic Council of Turkey and the UAE, created during the visit The Emirates in July 2023.
The first meeting of the Supreme Strategic Council of Turkey and the UAE took place on July 16 in Ankara, chaired by President Erdogan and Muhammad Bin Zaid al-Nahayan.
the UAE is the largest trading partner of Turkey in the Gulf of Persian. The volume of trade between the two countries at the end of 2024 amounted to about $ 16 billion.
