Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ermek Kosherbayev and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Abbas Araqchi discussed the prospects for the development of Kazakh-Iranian cooperation.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the telephone conversation between the heads of the Foreign Ministry took place on the initiative of the Iranian side.
During the conversation, Araqchi congratulated his Kazakh colleague on his appointment to the post of minister and the Day Republic.
“The heads of foreign affairs departments discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Kazakh-Iranian cooperation, confirming the mutual desire to further expand and deepen bilateral relations,” follows from the publication.
Following the negotiations, the ministers reviewed the schedule of upcoming events at the highest and high levels and agreed to continue to maintain an active political dialogue, the Foreign Ministry noted.
