Foreign Ministry: Azerbaijan is waiting for an answer from Armenia

Azerbaijan is committed to a peaceful agenda, told Azerbaijani reporters of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Ministers Elnur Mamedov.

“We are committed to a peaceful agenda. As you know that at the beginning of this month the first meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia on a peace treaty took place in Geneva. At this meeting, the Azerbaijani side set out the main elements of the future peace treaty. The current time we expect from Armenia a preliminary imprisonment and an answer on these key elements, ”said Mammadov.

According to him, on the basis of this answer, the holding of the next meetings will be discussed.

The deputy minister also confirmed the recent statement by the office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mger Grigoryan on the meeting of the Delimitation Commission in November.

“In the early days of November, a meeting of the Delimitation Commission will be held in Brussels. After this meeting, the Secretariat of the Delimitation Commission will be made by a public statement,” Mamedov said.
