The key priority for Georgia in global security matters is relations with neighbors – Azerbaijan, Armenia and Turkey, who are Tbilisi strategic partners. This was stated by Foreign Minister Mak Bochorishvili, local media reports.
The head of the department emphasized the value of partnership with each of these countries. The diplomat reminded that it was Tbilisi who accepted the first tripartite meeting of the heads of the Foreign Ministry. Bochorishvili noted that such a format of cooperation will continue and expanded.
“When it comes to global security, first of all, of course, you should start with relations with neighbors, because for us they are the main priority. Georgia has a strategic partnership with three neighbors – Azerbaijan, Armenia and Turkey. Relations with all three countries are very valuable” – gives us a given. The words of the minister.
according to her, Georgia intends to be a full -fledged participant in the discussions of the key issues for the region and is actively cooperating with partners in this direction.
