The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharov during the weekly briefing noted that the meeting of representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia reached the goal – to create a favorable background for consistent normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, reports Sputnik Armenia.

Participants were united that they see the role of the intelligentsia in reducing the degree of distrust between the Azerbaijani and Armenian peoples.
