Foreign Ministry Of Russian Federation: Moscow Will Not Allow Restoration Of Ukraine Within Borders Of 1991

Russia will not allow the restoration of Ukraine within the borders of 1991. This was stated in the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday, May 1, commenting on the attack of drones on the annexed Kherson region.

The department said that the attack was “deliberately implemented on a festive day, when the residents of the city went for purchases to maximize the number of victims and injured among civilians.”

The responsibility for today’s attack also lies in Western countries that provide military and financial support to Ukraine, according to the diplomatic mission.

Behind the “vain and baseless claims” of Kyiv and its Western allies to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine within the borders of 1991, there is a desire to damage Russian interests, but Moscow will not allow the implementation of such a scenario, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The Russian side said that all those involved in the attack will be established and liable in accordance with the law.

Moscow also called on the international community and specialized multilateral organizations to give a fundamental assessment to the incident and condemn the incident.

expressed condolences to the families of the dead, as well as the wishes of a speedy recovery to the victims.
