The process of Russia’s transfer of six thousand bodies of the dead Ukrainian military personnel, in accordance with the agreements in Istanbul, will begin in the near future. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.
“The Russian side will transfer to Ukraine 6 thousand bodies of the dead military personnel from Ukraine,” the Russian state media quoted the diplomat.
The official representative reminded of this, clarifying that this was a gesture of goodwill from Moscow. She also emphasized that the program will begin in the near future.
The diplomat also recalled the proposal of Russia to cease fire on several sections of the front in order to search and collect the bodies of the dead. “The agreement on the exchange of all seriously ill and seriously wounded prisoners of war has been reached,” Zakharova added. She clarified that according to the conclusions of medical commissions that will be permanent, lists for the exchange of seriously wounded military will constantly be formed. The conclusions of the commissions will not depend on political decisions and will become regular.
The representative of the Russian diplomatic mission also indicated that the parties agreed on the exchange of young military personnel under the age of 25 according to the “All for All” formula. She believes that at least 1 thousand people will exchange on each side.
Zakharova emphasized that the Russian side intends to responsibly approach all the agreements reached in Istanbul following negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine of trying to disrupt the next round of negotiations with Russia in Istanbul.
“The Kiev regime and his Eesov sponsors made a lot of efforts to disrupt the next round of negotiations in Istanbul, and thereby torpedoing the emerging peaceful process. They were used to the terrorist methods,” she said.
The diplomat reminded of tragic incidents that occurred from May 31 to June 1 in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
According to the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the main investigative department of the IC of Russia, the facts of undermining areas of iron expensive and the structures of bridges in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, which led to passenger, commodity and diagnostic compositions, are qualified as “terrorist acts”. “According to the Investigative Committee, executing the subversions, acted on the order of the Kyiv regime,” she stressed.
Zakharova emphasized that the Ukrainian side is “aggressive” in relation to Russia. According to her, in Kyiv they are not inclined to search for sober solutions to resolve the conflict. “However, to talk with Moscow from the standpoint of strength and ultimatums is obviously unpromising,” said Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“once again convincingly indicates that in Kyiv they are still extremely aggressive and not inclined to find sober solutions,” the diplomat at a briefing emphasized.
