Foreign Ministry of Turkey demanded liberation of Crimean Tatars

Turkish Foreign Ministry demanded the release of five Crimean Tatars convicted in Crimea for 13 years, the ministry said in a statement.

“We are concerned about the sentence to 13 years in prison to the Crimean Tatars Gemily Gafarov, the Servet Gaziev, Erfan Osmanov, Alim Karimov and Seyran Murtaza announced today”.

The statement confirms the support of the law of Crimean Tatars to free and safe residence in its homeland.

“We expect that the necessary steps will be taken so that all Crimean Tatars who are in prison in Crimea for political reasons, including the Vice-President of the Milli Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Jalal, Asan Akhmetov and Aziz Akhmetov, who were convicted. Similarly, they will be able to gain freedom as soon as possible and return to their families, ”the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Jappar made a statement on this subject on the social network Twitter.
