Foreign Ministry of Turkey: incident with UAV did not affect anti -terrorist operation in Syria

Ankara (AA) – the loss of shock UAV during the anti -terrorist operation of the Turkish Armed Forces in Syria did not affect the course of this operation. This is stated in the statement of the Foreign Ministry of Turkey.

“This incident did not affect the operation and defeat of the identified goals,” the diplomatic mission said.

The Foreign Ministry reminded that after the Turkish Armed Forces and the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) committed on October 1 in Ankara, based on the legitimate right to self -defense, complex operations against objects of the Red Army/YPG terrorist organization and Syria.

The statement noted that as part of the operations on the eve, many objects of the separatist terrorist organization were destroyed, including in the areas of Tel Rifat, Jizire and Derik in the north of Syria.

“during the operation of the UAV was lost due to various technical assessments in the deconfilation mechanism implemented with third parties.
