This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in connection with the eleventh package of anti -Russian sanctions of the European Union.
The European Union continues to put pressure on Russia through unilateral restrictive measures. The EU countries on June 23 took the eleventh sanctions “package”. We consider such actions to be illegitimate, undermining the international legal prerogatives of the UN Security Council, ”the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a message.
The department noted that in response to unfriendly actions by the Russian side, the list of representatives of European-instruments and member countries of the European Union, which is prohibited from entering the territory of the Russian Federation, was significantly expanded.
We are talking about representatives of law enforcement agencies, state and commercial organizations of the EU countries, citizens of the EU member countries involved in the provision of military assistance to Kiev, representatives of the Euro-structures responsible for the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions and trying to undermine Russia’s relations with other states. “Restrictions are also extended to parliamentarians of the EU countries promoting a confrontation agenda with Russia,” the message will say.
On Friday, June 23, the European Union introduced the 11th package of sanctions against Russia.
