This is stated in the report of the Turkish Foreign Ministry in connection with the anniversary of the tragic events in Germany, where on May 29, 1993, a group of radicals made arson in the house of ethnic Turks, as a result of which five people were killed.
“We respect the memory of our five citizens who died as a result of a racist attack in Zolingen 32 years ago,” – follows from the publication of the Turkish department, located on the social network x.
“We respect Bilga Anu Mevlude Gench with respect and gratitude, who, contrary to the loss of members of his family as a result of an attack, demonstrated a model position, calling for restraint,” the Foreign Ministry noted, expressing regrets with her connection with its end in 2022.

On May 29, 1993, a group of extremists set fire to the House of Ethnic Turks in the city of Zolingen in the federal land North Rhine-Westphalia. As a result, five members of the same family were killed: Gyursun Indgea (28), Hatidge Gench (19), Gulistan Oztyurk (12), Khulia (9) and Salim Gench (5). Those who committed the crime Marcus Gartman, Felix Kennen, Christian Recher and Christian Bucolz served the sentence and are free. They continue to live in Germany under other names.
Despite the loss of his loved ones as a result of a racist arson, Mevlude Gench for many years has played for the unity and solidarity of the Turkish and German communities. The woman passed away on October 30, 2022.
