The fire that began in the sowing square in the area of the village of Agalyg of the Shabran district, later due to windy weather spread to the lands of the forest fund.
The head of the Forestry Development Service of Halygverdi Huseynov, who arrived at the place, said that local bodies of the Ministry of Ecology, employees of the state fire department and residents of the village take immediate measures to extinguish the fire and prevent its distribution to other territories.
“Unfortunately, the wind prevents the extinguishing of the fire, all our employees, local residents, passers -by, all help. One person, inadvertently set fire to the sown area, which caused the disaster. We continue to fight together to prevent the fire,” said Huseynov.
