Former mayor of Tbilisi did not find a place in Tbilisi

One of the leaders of the Georgian opposition, the former Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Uguulava, detained during today’s protests, was delivered to Marneuli’s detention facility. This is reported on the official page of the policy on the social network Facebook.

“There are no places in Tbilisi police stations, so Gigi Uguulava is translated into Marneuli,” the statement says.

Note that the former mayor of the Georgian capital was detained during protests in front of the building of the Tbilisi City Court on Monday, November 29th.
