Four employees of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan were blown up on mine in Karabakh

Four employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan were blown up by a mine laid down by members of illegal armed groups in Karabakh. This is stated in the joint information of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service and the General Prosecutor’s Office.

“On September 19, the KamAZ brand vehicle, in which the Azerbaijan Ministry of Internal Affairs were located, heading to the place of the attack, which killed employees of the State Azerbaijani Road Agency on the 58th kilometer of the Akhmedbei-Pizuli-Shusha road passing through the territory. Khojavender district, at about 04:30 was blown up by a mine installed by the Armenian sabotage group in a recently built tunnel in the village of Tagaverd, Khojaventsky District, ”the statement said.

As a result of the incident, four employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were killed.

A criminal case has been instituted in the Main Investigation Department of the SSR on the fact of a terrorist act committed against employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

Earlier, the SGB reported that the truck of the State Road Agency (Azravtoyol) was blown up on an anti -tank mine in the Khojavender district. As a result, two people were killed.
