In the five departments in the south of France, an increased level of fire hazard has been announced against the background of the ongoing abnormal heat. Only over the past weekend flame, about 660 hectares of forest destroyed, the French press reports.
So, the level of “high” risk is established in the departments of Var, and in the departments of OD and Eastern Pyrenees – “extremely high”. A fire that managed to take control. According to official figures, 650 hectares of forest burned. More than 630 firefighters and 18 special vehicles took part in the extinguishing.
Last night, another fire began – in the area of Kosol in the Primorsky Alps. The element destroyed 8 hectares of forests, 50 firefighters and 20 cars were attracted to liquidation. By morning, the fire was localized, now cooling the zone continues and the purification of the curves.
