France: number of cases COVID-19 among children has increased dramatically

Over the past week in France, the number of cases of coronavirus infection among children from 6 to 10 years has sharply increased, BFM TV reports with reference to the Santé Publique sanitary agency.

It is noted that as of today, the incidence rate among children has reached 340 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants. After the vacation in early November, this figure was 80.

This data is talking about the very active distribution of COVID-19 among children, while the average incidence rate around the country is 191 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.

According to the agency, the incidence rate of coronavirus among secondary school students also exceeds the average: 208 cases among children aged 11 to 14 years.
