French changed his mind about city of Shusha

Lyon Court of Appeal canceled the Charter on cooperation, illegally signed in 2015 at the insistence of the Armenian lobby between the cities of Saint-Etienne, Bur-le-Valance, Desin-Sharpeje, where mostly French Armenian origin live, and the cultural capital of Azerbaijan Shuschi and KhojaVand . Completed already that year controversial trial. Although Armenians tried very hard to preserve the Charter on cooperation, the Court of Appeal categorically declared the illegality of the signed document and revoked it. At the same time, Armenians had to pay for court expenses, reports Haqqin.az with reference to the French media.

Starting from June 2013 in France, a number of leaders of local authorities (mainly regions in which Armenian communities are dominated by Il de France, Rona-Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur) signed 28 illegal cooperation documents with Representatives of the separatists of the occupied territories of Karabakh (charters, declarations, statements, agreements and the Charter). 15 such illegal documents were signed with the Overnal Ron-Alpes region with the capital in Lyon, where the most Armenians are concentrated. The Azerbaijani Embassy in France held work to recognize the invalidity of these documents and appealed in connection with this.

“Charters, annulled by the Lyon Appeal Court, were signed with three cities of this particular region. In the occupied Shusha (October 5, 2014 with Bur-le-Valance and October 21, 2018 – from Saint-Etienne) and in KhojaVend (25 September 2017 – with desin-collective) representatives of the separatist regime signed illegal charters about friendship. As a result of the work carried out by the Azerbaijani Embassy in France, Grenoble (June 6, 2019) and Lyon (September 19, 2019), administrative courts annulled these illegal documents. Under the pressure of the Armenian community, the heads of municipalities filed appeals, we received an official notice that the Lyon Administrative Court of Appeal rejected all three complaints and retained the previously accepted cancellation decisions, “Azerbaijani Ambassador Rahman Mustafayev emphasized.

The diplomat noted that the cancellation of all illegal documents was the priority task of the embassy, but the spiritual capital of our country Shusha was a separate topic: “We cannot allow weaving the occupation of our land with local Dashnakov and Asala members acting together with the selling French politicians.” / P>

Thanks to the efforts of the Azerbaijani embassy by French courts of various instances, 10 illegal documents were revoked. Of these, 4 were rejected on the basis of appeal complaints, 3 illegal documents are considered by the court, on the issue of revocation of other illegal documents, work continues.
