French Totalenergies, one of the largest foreign investors in the Russian TEK, will no longer provide funding for new projects in Russia, the company statements.
The statement notes that Totalenergies condemns the operation of Russia in Ukraine.
“Totalenergies is ready to provide fuel in Ukraine’s power and help Ukrainian refugees in Europe. Totalenergies supports the scope and stiffness of sanctions entered by Europe in relation to Russia, and will apply them independently of the consequences (currently evaluated) for its activities in Russia. We We will no longer provide capital for new projects in Russia, “the report says.
