FSB confirmed: CIA helped Ukraine to delay dozens of Russians

Ukrainian intelligence received money from the US, technical assistance and CIA consultation to hold a special operation to the detention of 33 Russians in Belarus, most of whom were mercenaries of a private military company (CHVC) “Wagner” in the summer of 2020. It is reported by CNN with reference to sources in Ukrainian intelligence.

According to the former employees of the intelligence of Ukraine, they issued themselves for a submarine PMC, with the help of which the Russians hired. They were offered five thousand dollars a month for the protection of petroleum facilities in Venezuela. In fact, Ukrainian intelligence wanted to obtain data on the Russians and identify mercenaries of the CHVC “Wagner” suspected of Ukraine in war crimes.

At the same time, the source of the CNN channel was confirmed in the Federal FSB of Russia.

“Very objectively, they showed the role of the CIA in preparation and conduct, showed that it was a joint operation with GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the SBU, so we consider this information to be reliable,” he concluded.
