In the US capital Washington, with the participation of Azerbaijan’s ambassador to the United States, Khazar Ibragim, a meeting was held by the Chairman of the State Committee for Diaspora Fuad Muradov with representatives of the Azerbaijani community.
According to HaqQin.az, the meeting was organized in the Azerbaijan Center for Commerce and Culture by the head of the center of Natikov Bakhishov and the head of the American-Azerbaijan Women’s Association with Lalaya Ragimova.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the State Committee on Working with Diaspora Fuad Muradov congratulated the Azerbaijani diaspora with the first anniversary of the glorious victory led by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, called on the representatives of the diaspora and continue to be active in bringing the world to the world of Azerbaijani realities.
Chairman of the State Committee presented to the American artist Abulfaz Bahaduri Medal “For merits in diaspora”.

Speaking at the event held in the Azerbaijan Center for Trade and Culture, the Chairman of the Committee noted the importance of the rapid integration of Azerbaijanis in the US Community.
Head of the Association of Azerbaijani World Bank employees, International Monetary Fund and International Finance Corporation, Bakhtiyar Kerimov expressed his appreciation to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care of the Azerbaijani state about Azerbaijanis living abroad.
