Free places in Armenian hospitals will be exhausted in a week if the current level of coronavirus spread will continue, the Deputy Director of the National Center for Control and Prevention of Diseases of the Ministry of Health of Armenia Gayane Sahakyan said.
“Right now in Armenia, a difficult situation with coronavirus. Our system is quite overloaded, a kainy fund on the outcome, and we have about 90% incidence. And the reproduction rate of the virus is currently 1.2,” said Sahakyan, reports Sputnik Armenia.
According to her, when preserving such a trend of distribution in Armenia, 7 thousand new cases of infections are expected during the week. With such indicators, there will be no free places in hospitals, and queues will appear again for hospitalization.
In total, 190,741 confirmed infection occurred in Armenia to coronavirus.
