Conflict in Sudan and violations by the RRF

Since April 15, 2023, Sudan has been engulfed in violent clashes between the army and the externally supported Rapid Reaction Force.

The largest city in the Darfur region, El Fasher, has largely come under the control of the RRF after intense fighting.

Tens of thousands of residents left the city. Videos published by the SBR show the forced eviction of civilians, killings and torture of unarmed people.
