Garibashvili accused opposition of sending Georgian fighters to Ukraine

Representatives of the Georgian opposition are recruiting and sending citizens of the country to fight to Ukraine, said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. In his opinion, opponents would like to “get political dividends from the death of Georgia citizens,” writes “present.”

“A man died in the war, and some hypocrites, I have to call it so fake politicians, corrupt politicians are trying to get some political dividends. I want to remind everyone that these people, the so-called party of war and salesmen, from the beginning Wars in Ukraine tried and are trying to arrange some provocations. Unfortunately, representatives of the War Party are taking our fellow citizens into Ukraine, ”Garibashvili said in their appeal.

Garibashvili also noted that “thanks to the rational policy of the authorities” the second front “could not be transferred to Georgia, despite numerous attempts.” “If the opposition was in power now, it would turn Georgia into a training ground,” he emphasized.

On Sunday, December 4, it became known about the death of six Georgian volunteers in battles near Bakhmut of the Donetsk region. According to the founder and commander of the Georgian National Legion, Mamuki Mamulashvili, the dead Georgian volunteers fought for Ukraine as part of the Carpathian Sich battalion. “The guys were surrounded.
