Georgia deserves the provision of the status of a candidate for the European Union, taking into account the reforms, achieved progress and a complex geopolitical situation. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, local media reports.
According to the head of government, the negative decision of the European Commission on this issue “will be absolutely unacceptable and offensive to us, our people and the country.”
