Georgia must return its territories peacefully, through the correct, intelligent and pragmatic policy. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the event in connection with the 15th anniversary of the Russian-Georgian war.

The head of government noted that the August war of 2008 could be avoided.

Prime Minister accused the former authorities of Georgia of acting “in their interests.”
“This was a truly anti -national power that did not care about the unification of the territories of Georgia, the protection of our people, or the protection of our national interests, it was a power that took care of only their interests,” the prime minister said.
