“General Executive Case”: Departure of General Staff Armenian

Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Stepan Galstyan is arrested for two months. The court issued a decree on arrest on the basis of the discussion of the application of the Prosecutor General’s Office, reports the Armenian edition of Greparak.

Previously, the National Security Service of Armenia reported that Galstyan was detained in the case of abuse and embezzlement in particularly large amounts of deliveries for the needs of Armenian Armed Forces. For the same case, the ex-minister of defense David Tonoyan are held (on the eve he was arrested) and the entrepreneur David Galstyan (known as the Cartridge Dava), the head of the company for the supply of weapons.
