The Commander of the Central Command of the United States (Sentkom) Michael Eric Kurill said that Türkiye plays a very positive role in the integration of the northeast of Syria and the Damascus administration.
Kurilla, who made a Sentkom situation and duties at a meeting of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, also provided information about the current situation in Syria.
Kurilla noted that the United States is trying to ensure the integrity of Syria and at the same time not interrupt the fight against the deash, and at the moment they continue direct negotiations with the elements of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization using the name “SDF”.
According to the general, they are working on the integration of elements in the northeast of Syria into the Syrian administration. Türkiye plays a very positive role in this regard and that this is a very important element for Syria stability.
noting that for the parties it is very constructively at the negotiating table and discuss what the administration in Syria will be, the American commander said: “I think they should find out how they will rule the administration of the whole country.”
