Georgia began the preparation of joint exercises Agile Spirit-2023 with the command of the United States Army in Europe and Africa. This was reported by the press service of the Georgian Ministry of Defense.
“The forces of the Georgian defense, together with the US Army command in Europe and Africa, began to prepare for the multinational teachings of Agile Spirit 2023,” the agency said. Georgia will accept multinational exercises for the 11th time, headed by the Western command of the defense forces.
Tbilisi discussed the district with foreign partners, the timing of the exercises and the number of participating states. They plan to conduct training maneuvers in the summer of 2023.
Earlier in NATO they decided to increase Tbilisi’s support, increase their mission in the country and expand the conduct of exercises in Georgian territory.
