The military personnel of the Georgian Defense Forces Temuri Kharchilava died during the search in the landslide gathering zone at the Showie resort in the highland region, the Georgian Ministry of Defense reported.
“The Ministry of Defense of Georgia expresses a deep regret about the death of the senior instructor of the 10th brigade of the national defense of the National Defense Forces of Temuri Kharchilava born in 1973,” the report said.
As noted, the military died during the implementation of rescue work, presumably from a heart attack.
