Georgia eases a number of restrictions

The Georgian authorities have decided to ease a number of restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic, head of the Georgian government administration Ilya Darchiashvili said at a briefing on Thursday, Sputnik-Georgia reports.

“Today the coordinating council made a decision on additional easing of restrictions. From April 1, children’s entertainment centers and cinemas will be able to resume work in compliance with regulations and recommendations. From March 19, live music will be allowed in institutions,” Darchiashvili said.

Also on March 28, a football match between the national teams of Georgia and Spain is scheduled. In this regard, the authorities decided to allow spectators to the match – the stands will be 30% full. Spectators will also be admitted to the judo competitions scheduled in Georgia.
