On Tuesday, October 26, in the Tbilisi “Caucasian House” in the framework of the Culgar Calendar project, the film of the Azerbaijani director Asif Rustamova “on the river” will be displayed, says Sputnik Georgia.
The event will allow the audience to receive an idea of modern filmmaking in Azerbaijan, its current content and aesthetic features.
In the film “On the River”, the story of Ali is the coach of a small rowing team. Ali wants to leave his wife and start a new life with his beloved, but the son Ruslan holds him from this decision. Ruslan is also a rowing, he has stretched relationships with his father, because the teenager, in his opinion, cannot justify the high expectations of his father, which is why he constantly receives reprimand. Before one of the important competitions, Ali eliminates the Son from the team, after which Ruslan disappears.
Earlier, on October 19, the movie “Chameleon” film Alvina Adygozel and Rustam Khasanova passed in Tbilisi. The organizers point out that from time to time the project will offer such sessions to meet regional filmmakers.
