Georgia: Saakashvili plans declared doomed to failure

Georgia Prime Minister Irakli Garybashvili called the revolutionary plans of the Ex-President Mikhail Saakashvili doomed to fail, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the Georgian Prime Minister, several versions of Saakashvili’s reasons for Saakashvili into the republic are actively discussed in society and some believe that he came to overthrow the government.

“The most logical one can be considered a version that Saakashvili arrived in Georgia not with the intention to go to jail, but with a great hope for the state coup. I would like to say the public that the revolutionary plans of Saakashvili in all cases were doomed to failure.” – Has assured Garybashvili.

The head of government also expressed confidence that Saakashvili was not able to calculate the consequences of his actions.

October 1, Saakashvili returned to Georgia for the first time in eight years, where on the same day was detained and sent to the city of Rustavi.
