Georgia: searches of 2 children who are missing after landslide in Chuvi

In Georgia, the search for two missing children in the natural disaster zone in the resort region of Shovi, local media reports.

At the moment, the death of 31 people is confirmed. On the eve of the rescuers, two bodies found 40 kilometers from the epicenter of the landing of landslide: an adult man and a child.

Search work continues in active mode, the operation area reaches the territory of the HumatHES. Rescuers, military, groups of dog handlers were involved in the search work, using heavy equipment.

The landslide in Shovi came up on the evening of August 3. As a result, power lines, bridges and roads, as well as tourist cottages and a hotel were damaged as a result.

In connection with the tragedy on August 7, the day of mourning was announced in Georgia.
