Georgian Airways airline announced President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili Persona Non Grad on its aircraft, reports news-group.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Tamaz Gaiashvili said that the decision was made in response to her yesterday’s statement – Zurabishvili called for a airline’s boycott after the start of direct flights to Moscow.
“We will not let her on board,” says Gaiashvili, demanding an apology from the president, not only airline, but to all the people of Georgia.
In his opinion, Georgian Airways today belongs to the merits and exploits of Georgian pilots who took people out of the burning Sukhumi 30 years ago.
